Kelly Mackie
Owner & Master Colorist
Kelly is a Certified Master Colorist. “As a little girl, I would pack my overnight bag and go door-to-door in the neighborhood looking for anyone that would let me work on them; and if you ever came to visit, you were fair game!” Kelly has had the stylist gene since she was a small child. That interest grew into a career that has lasted over four decades. Kelly has spent her career training and mentoring many stylists, all the while building a great life for herself and many others.
Kim Redmond
Stylist
Kim has been in the hair industry since 1984, starting in Baltimore, where she worked for 10 years before returning to Cumberland. She has been with Opposite Genders since 1996, during which time she has attended several educational trips to the Redken Exchange 5th Avenue NYC, and taken multiple classes with P.M., Graham Webb Academy, and International Conferences, NY.

Chelsea Don Betz
Stylist
Chelsea Betz is an Allegany County local and has recently returned to the area to join the Team at Opposite Genders. She is a Bishop Walsh Alumni and completed her cosmetology education at The Temple: A Paul Mitchell Partner School in Frederick, MD. Chelsea enjoys focusing on the color wheel and chemistry. She has 5+ years in the industry and looks forward to growing her education and skills with OGI and Redken. Chelsea is dedicated to her work but mostly the services she can provide her clients on an every day basis.
Kylie Doll

Something about getting all 'done up' has made me happy, and the ability I have to make others happy and beautiful, is one of the best feelings. Opposite Genders was a unexpected opportunity but it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. We give our clients the attention they need and always give our best.
